I perform a one man comedy and magic show which I tour all over the country, from Cumbria to Cornwall. The show lasts around two hours, including a twenty minute interval.

My present show is called Funny Tricks. In it I talk about, and demonstrate, some of the techniques I use to mystify my audience - is the hand really quicker than the eye, is it all done with mirrors or does everything disappear up the sleeve?

I also perform different branches of magic, ranging from sleight of hand to traditional conjuring props to reading minds; but all have one feature in common - they are all performed with laughs galore.

Funny Tricks is for adults and children aged 12 +. There is absolutely nothing offensive in the show but some of the humour is a little sophisticated for younger children.

Alongside the evening show, I also perform a family show (Ian Keable’s Magical Laughter Show) for all ages.

Both shows are completely self-contained. I provide all the sound and lighting and even, if necessary, staging. I also have posters, flyers and tickets. All you need to come up with is a venue and an audience!

Funny Tricks is my second one man show. The first was called Conjuring Up Comedy in which I explained, with a mixture of anecdotes, jokes and magic, how I changed from accountant to magical comedian.
