  FEEDBACK

About the showsPublicityFeedback

The first section of feedback (Rural Touring) is from shows that were booked by Schemes belonging to the National Rural Touring Forum. The next section (Theatres and Village Halls) is shows I booked myself directly. The final section (Published) is public reviews I have had.

Rural Touring
I stood at the door at the end everyone without fail said what a great show it was. Many said it was the best ever and that they couldn’t remember when they had laughed so much. What a smooth performer and great with the audience. A great, great show that ended far too soon.
CHESHIRE RURAL ARTS

I thought Ian Keable was superb. Great show had me in fits of laughter all the way through. Content and presentation excellent - much the best that we have been to. He should be in mainstream theatre.
THEATRE IN THE VILLAGES (BUCKS)

Lots of people said this was the best event yet! His patter was hilarious and his magic fascinating. It is astonishing that an act of this professional quality can be enjoyed in a village hall.
VILLAGES IN ACTION (DEVON)

Just a note to say thank you very much for bringing your excellent show to us as part of the Spot On Rural Touring season. We had lots of feedback to say what a wonderful show it was, and we certainly thoroughly enjoyed it. We still can't begin to work out how you did those tricks!
SPOT ON (LANCASHIRE)

Your performance was a highlight of the Compton Bassett Social Calendar. Everyone is talking about it-how did he do that?! And we have had the most positive feedback ever. A fantastic evening. Thank you so much.
RURAL ARTS WILTSHIRE

Your show was thoroughly enjoyed by all. It was very slick and professional and we had positive feedback from everyone.
ON TOUR (YORKSHIRE)

Great night, wonderful performance. One of the best shows we’ve had.
CARN TO COVE (CORNWALL)

You are very clever in being able to pick out very quickly those people who can respond to your humour. Most people who came had no idea what to expect but they went away delighted. I would happily recommend you.
ARTS OUT WEST (CUMBRIA)

Theatres and village halls
What joy you gave - and we already have the e-mails saying so.
Wildwood Theatre, Kent

Thank you very much indeed for Saturday. Everybody - young and old - thoroughly enjoyed your performances and the evening was truly amazing. I have received such positive feedback which I am sure comes as no surprise to you at all.
Ickleford Village Hall, Herts

Just a brief note, on behalf of the entire audience, to thank you so very much for a fabulous show on Friday here in Aylesford. The feedback has been astounding and it has been the talk of the village ever since! It was great and thoroughly enjoyed by all.
Aylesford Village Hall, Ken

I’ve had some very positive feedback about your event, and just the other day, someone congratulated the theatre on the varied programming we’ve had this year, mentioning your show particularly.
Abbey Theatre, Herts

When we booked Ian we were wondering if his show would be of a professional standard. We needn’t have worried as he far exceeded our expectations. Not only was his magic excellent but he was also extremely funny. The feedback from everybody who saw the show was universally enthusiastic.
Swallowfied Parish Hall, Berks

Thank you for putting on such an entertaining show on Saturday night. We have had lots of compliments from people who were there saying how much they enjoyed it, and how amusing and professional it was.
Leverstock Village Hall, Herts

Published reviews
A show that has universal appeal for anybody who enjoys non-stop laughter while simultaneously being totally bamboozled.
Bucks Free Press

The quality and humour contained in his magic tricks alone is enough to keep both kids and adults captivated with the show throughout.
Islington Gazette

The pace never flags, the two hours seem to fly by and it is clear that Keable could make the show even longer if he wanted to. A triumph in every respect.

Whether it be Keable’s witty asides, throwaway innuendoes, amusing anecdotes or perhaps, best of all, interacting with willing audience members, non-stop laughter is the result.
